Who We Are
SUMMARY
The
Transaction Lease Coordinator provides assistance to the real estate transactions team in the timely execution of transactions activities, preparation and distribution of transactions-related forms, letters and reports.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Creates and maintains key dates for leasing activities and notifies Transactions Manager of upcoming activities to assist with timely execution
- Prepares and distributes reports including but not limited to transactions services report, trade information, key performance indicators, etc
- Prepares lease transaction forms and letters including but not limited to trade record sheets, exercise letters, extension letters, waivers, employee occupancy, etc
- Maintains leasingrelated documentation templates such as forms, letters and lease agreements
- Maintains the lease renewal and comparable rental rates databases and ensures data integrity
- Maintains leasing files and ensures all required documentations are received and are accurate
- Assists Transactions Managers in preparing listing agreements and marketing packages to market surplus properties
- Reviews lease documentations for clauses specifying items including but not limited to options, terminations and restrictive covenant to support leasing, negotiation and timely execution of activities
- Responds to inquiries received through the 1800 Lease Transactions Services hotline
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- Minimum of 3 years of transactions services administrative support within a commercial real estate brokerage firm (preferred) or corporate real estate environment
- High school completion plus a specialized technical or business course
- Ability to interpret and execute transactionsrelated forms and letters
- Ability to review and interpret lease documentations
- Ability to extract and compile data into reports
- Strong administrative and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- Computer proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel along with the ability to quickly learn proprietary databases
Licenses and/or Professional Accreditation
- None required
- Demonstrates an interest in attaining Real Estate License
