Base Salary: $120130K
LOA: $250 per day
Travel: Expenses covered to travel to the site
Shift Schedule 10 days On and 4 days Off

Responsibilities:

Anticipates project needs with sufficient lead time.
Effectively manage project deliverables and issue plans to the client in accordance with the contract.
Participate in prejob meetings to identify action items, KPIs, management of project budget, etc.
Develop project resource requirements plans and optimize companywide resource utilization.
Timely communication and correspondence with subcontractors and major suppliers.
Provides project leadership and effective management of all field personnel, maintaining a safety first attitude, and ensuring that all procedures and policies are being properly followed.
Monitors construction progress and provides regular updates and reports to Management, clients, and other key stakeholders.
Regularly monitors and reviews project cost variances, providing feedback to project teams as appropriate.
Demonstrate leadership in health, safety, and environmental protection on the project.
Develop, maintain, and drive the construction schedule and take the necessary initiative to adjust plans and coordinate action with the project team to complete projects on time and within budget.
Work with the project team to issue material purchase orders and confirm receipt of materials and return of equipment.
Capable of identifying constructability issues in moderately complex situations and creating solutions.
Understand and communicate the finances of any given job.
Ensure quick, efficient, and effective decisionmaking related to field support.
Ability to Price and Manage change orders and extra work orders.
Perform and provide accurate material takeoffs, create traffic management plans, quality control plans, site safety plans, etc.
Mentor, coach, and supervise site project team.
Oversee project closeout and lead team debrief on the project.

Requirements:

5+ years experience in a project management role overseeing selfperform civil construction projects.
Completion of a university degree in the Civil Engineering field and current registration as a P. Eng (Asset).
PMP Designation (Asset).
Competent in managing multiple projects from preliminary stages to substantial completion. Including Civil Earthworks, Deep Utility Installation, Pipeline Clearing, and Access Road/Highway Construction.
Ability to organize and direct budgets, control costs, and manage several complex projects.
Comprehensive knowledge of WorkSafe BC Health & Safety legislation and regulations.
Strong Microsoft Office abilities.

Safety Requirements:

Valid Class 5 driver's license and clean driver abstract
Valid First Aid
CSTS 2020
Ability to Pass a Drug and Alcohol test
