All maintenance mechanics are signatory to Local Union 787 and will receive wages and benefits as
prescribed by the current collective agreement.


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Respond to and complete all work orders such as filter replacement, belt replacement, verify
condition of equipment, pressure washing coils, checking heat exchangers,

  • Document all tasks performed based on original work order.
  • Communicate any issues observed onsite with team members as required.
  • Pick up material from vendors
  • Create and submit quotes for repair work
  • Other duties as assigned by manager

Qualifications:


  • Hold a valid G2 certificate by the Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA).
  • Hold a valid driver's license with a clean driver's abstract.
  • 12 years previous Maintenance Technician experience would be an asset.
  • Must have the ability to anticipate work needs and follow through on a given task with mínimal
direction.

  • Display strong interpersonal skills
  • Must have the ability to work with patience and courtesy.
  • Bilingualism (French & English) is an asset.
  • Demonstrated willingness to be flexible and adaptable to changing priorities.
  • Strong multitasking and organizational skills.
  • Other certification such as WHIMIS, working at heights may be required
  • Personal hand tools required.
