Position OverviewEssential Job Functions
Maintenance, Repair and Troubleshooting of Systems and Products
- Unaccompanied Global Travel to underground mine sites, surface mine sites, and other installation sites.
- Analyze system functionality using specialized RF Test Equipment along with equipment specifications, manuals, and other aids, to troubleshoot issues and provide solutions and/or repairs.
- Provide onsite componentlevel repair and testing of Becker Mining Systems' OEM Products.
- Perform Installation Audits to ensure proper functionality of products and systems.
- Rectify any issues uncovered during system audits using proper repair procedures, test equipment, and parts.
- Liaise with Sales Representatives to schedule site visits and specify solutions to be quoted.
- Provide feedback to design team on customer problems, needs, and possible improvements.
- Create detailed service reports to be provided to the client after service work is completed.
- Service reports to include system photos (before and after if any changes were implemented), product photos, spectrum analyzer test results, etc.
- Detailed descriptions of issues found, troubleshooting techniques used, and solutions being recommended or implemented.
- Meticulous accounting for all Company-Issued Tools and any Parts used on Jobs.
- Creating Estimates for service work to include Parts, Labour, Travel, Accomodations, Perdiem, etc.
- Provide onsite training to End-Users on all Becker Group Products.
- Maintain good relationship and communications with site contacts, before, during, and after service work.
- Assist in scheduling Service Work and Quarterly System Audits.
- Tending to occasional Emergency Calls by clients with downed systems, who require immediate remote or onsite assistance.
- Provide assistance to the Production and Engineering Teams as required.
- Ensure all Monthly Credit Card Expenses are submitted for approval, along with Per-Diem and any other Cash Expenses.
- Daily Maintenance of Automobile Expenses Book.
- Ensure Company Vehicle is maintained and in good working order.
- Minimum Education: Technician or Technologist Diploma in Electronics, Electrical, or Instrumentation. Preference will be given to those with RF Credentials/Experience.
- Fluent in English, French an asset as well as other Languages.
- Above average computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office
Location is at Sudbury location when not servicing our valued customer base.

$80,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
