Reporting to the Vice President of Data & Integration Technology, the Associate Vice President of Business Intelligence & Data Science Technology Platforms will enable our organization to make data-driven decisions, streamline legacy environments, and provide a self-service capability for business data consumers.

Essential requirements for this strategic role include strong leadership abilities, technical proficiency in Business Intelligence and Data Science tools and technologies, and a collaborative mindset.

What You'll Do

  • Be the driving force behind the Business Intelligence & Data Science Technology roadmap, partnering with business and IT stakeholders to achieve business goals.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize data needs and share insights and best practices.
  • Lead the evolution of the Business Intelligence & Data Science Platforms, ensuring reliability and consistent availability of systems.
  • Define objectives and critical success metrics to measure system and team performance and develop innovative strategies to present to senior leadership to facilitate overall platform success.
  • Provide mentorship and leadership, guiding the team to enable the business by providing the appropriate system designs and scalable solutions that meet current and future requirements.
  • Manage the effective delivery of multiple parallel work streams leveraging crossfunctional teams.
  • Lead the adoption of technology innovation in data and data science, such as Artificial Intelligence, Deep Learning and Generative AI, in collaboration with peer groups and critical business stakeholders.

What You Bring

  • Minimum 10 years experience with Business Intelligence and Advanced Analytics Technologies; Cloud platforms preferred. Minimum 5 years of senior leadership at Senior Manager or Director Level
  • A collaborative team player who builds trusting relationships with an extensive network of stakeholders and crossfunctional teams
  • A passion for sharing your knowledge and experience with others while encouraging them to share their ideas and expertise for the optimal solutions for the company
  • Entrepreneurial instincts and the ability to successfully balance multiple tasks and deadlines in a rapidly changing environment
  • Excellent written and oral communication, superior presentation, project management, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lead and develop effective crossorganizational and vendorpartner relationships
  • Extensive experience working with data visualization platforms such as MicroStrategy, PowerBI, ThoughtSpot, Cognos and Tableau, and cloud platforms such as Azure and GCP
  • Agile delivery and data engineering experience, with the use of tools such as Jira
  • Curiosity, customerfocused approach and rapid problemsolving amid uncertainty
  • Knowledge and exposure to modern Data Warehouse and Lakehouse solutions such as Synapse, Snowflake and Databricks, realtime data architectures, automation tools and techniques, and emerging Data Science and Artificial Intelligence platforms
