Well, you could do all of this for a unique well-established non-profit organization in Quebec City called the Community Health and Social Services Network (CHSSN).


The CHSSN is looking for a person to provide support to our project management team; our aim is to improve access to health and social services for vulnerable English-speaking communities across the province of Quebec.


Reports To:
Program Manager for Seniors, Community Health and Social Services Network (CHSSN)

February 2, 2024, or until position is filled.

The CHSSN acts as an intermediary organization that implements funding programs to improve access to English-language health and social services across Quebec.

As
Project Assistant, you will work closely with the Program Manager for Seniors and the Montreal Development Officer is responsible for helping to advance projects and goals related to the Senior Wellness Initiative (SWC) and additional projects that serve the greater English-speaking community across Quebec.


Your primary duties and responsibilities will be such as:


Project Assistant:


  • Manage the creation and filing of contribution agreements and contracts
  • Monitor budget and timelines
  • Document and analyze program results for reports to funders based on program requirements
  • Support and communicate with program thirdparty recipients and ensure their compliance with all required reporting and program deliverables
  • Monitor the program activities on a regular basis and participate in an annual program evaluation
  • Planning and implementing logistics for events and training for recipients
  • Updating Facebooks group and knowledge hub
  • Develop and maintain provincial calendar of virtual events
  • Providing technical and followup support for the Aging in the Right Place SHARP webinars
  • Any other related tasks
In order to be
THE Project Assistant we're looking for, you'll need to have
in your briefcase:

  • Minimum 3 years experience in non profit organizations with administrative tasks
  • Knowledge in program management
  • Knowledge of the health and social services sector in Quebec
  • Knowledge of the Englishspeaking community of Quebec
  • Strong problem solving and group work leadership skills
  • Ability to interact with people of all ages and cultural backgrounds
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Effective
    BILINGUAL oral and written communication skills IN FRENCH AND IN ENGLISH
  • A high degree of technical
    knowhow;
  • Be recognized for these skills and abilities:

This position may be required to work some occasional overtime hours such as attending meetings and conferences.
