Job summary
The Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Instructor is responsible for delivering high-quality student-centered training focused on proactive de-escalation safe intervention techniques and trauma-informed practices.This role supports students in developing the confidence and practical skills required to manage real-world crisis situations with professionalism and empathy.
Delivering instruction that meets module and program objectives as outlined in the curriculum Facilitating demonstrations simulations and hands-on skill-building activities related to crisis prevention and intervention Evaluating student performance fairly consistently through assessments observation timely feedback Contributing to the development improvement of curriculum instructional resources ensuring content remains current relevant Supporting campus administrative functions including attendance tracking student documentation instructor meetings as required Maintaining a safe inclusive trauma-informed classroom environment Participating in College Program activities when scheduled including professional development campus initiatives Monitoring reviewing students during practicum clinical placements offered mentorship performance feedback.
