Thursday to Monday. 7am -3pm (hours may vary, depending on demand)

Wage:
$17 /hour
Minimum 1 years baking experience required.

We are looking for someone to join our fast-paced bakery.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Working with large quantity recipes and following protocols.
  • Assisting in various tasks for the bakery, making dessert bases, shaping doughs, sourdough breads, fruit toppings, buttercreams etc
  • Working with various vegan food mediums.
  • Packaging daily wholesale orders that go out each morning.
  • Packaging up frozen in production items such as cakes, croissants, toppings, etc.
  • Lifting heavy packages (20+ kg)
  • Adhering to proper food handling guidelines and safety protocol.
  • Maintaining the cleanliness of the workspace (a task shared by everyone on the team) by tidying the kitchen, sorting/washing dishes, organising stock, sweeping, mopping, wiping surfaces, cleaning equipment, and any other duty as needed.
  • Must be capable of working independently, ie early morning bake shifts.
