- Assembles materials from individual components using detailed written or verbal instructions.
- Performs simple screening, bagging, boxing, or cutting operations.
- Uses a variety of hand tools, and tests and cleans equipment.
- Inspects and tests work for quality, resolves simple problems, recognizes errors, and corrects or seeks guidance.
- Follows established safety regulations.
- Reads and understands technical drawings, work orders, and specifications to determine sequence of operations, materials required, and procedures needed.
- Cleans, prepares, and stages job materials for production according to procedure.
- Ensures quality assurance by inspecting final product to ensure specifications are met.
- Performs and logs scheduled preventative maintenance of production equipment.
- Maintains appropriate forms showing work completed and materials used.
- Follows provided production schedules and ensures proper workflow.
- 1 year required, 2 years preferred of knowledge and experience within a Production environment
- High School Diploma or Equivalent experience required. Associate's degree preferred
- Requires basic knowledge of manufacturing and quality processes
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, process documents, and other visual aids

- General knowledge of screening making equipment and techniques
- Basic knowledge of printing materials

Description
As a Production Assembler, you will assemble fabricated parts, components or units at floor stations. You will prepare parts for testing, test and calibrate parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications. You will perform complex machine set up and identify units that fail tests or tolerance levels and repair as necessary. You will be responsible for proposing measures to increase productivity and efficiency.
