Summary:
Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, you are responsible for material handling, clean-up, packaging and other various tasks to aid daily operations in manufacturing and processing.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
- Transport raw materials, finished products and equipment throughout plant manually or using powered equipment
- Check and weigh materials and products
- Sort, pack, crate and package materials and products
- Assist machine operators, assemblers and other workers
- Work with production machinery, such as: Dip Tank, Punch, Straightener, Cutter, Saw, and Slide Rail
- Clean work areas and equipment
- Adheres to company safety policies and procedures
- Additional duties as required
Qualifications:
- Team player
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to follow instructions
- Knowledge of WHMIS and hazardous goods
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Basic understanding of shop tools and techniques
- High school or equivalent education
Working Conditions:
- Works with mínimal supervision
- 40 hour work week
- Fastpaced manufacturing environment
- Physically demanding
- Frequent standing, bending, walking, and stretching
- Lifting of light and heavy materials
- Noisy working area
Salary:
From $17.46 per hour

Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
