Thomas Aquinas RCSSD is seeking applicants for a full-time Facilities Assistant based at the division office in Leduc, Alberta commencing as soon as possible.

St.

Thomas Aquinas Roman (STAR) Catholic Schools is a growing school division in Central Alberta, serving the communities of Lacombe, Ponoka, Wetaskiwin, Drayton Valley, Beaumont, and Leduc with just over 4400 students in the Division.

The Facilities Assistant assists the Director of Facilities in fulfilling the general administrative aspects of the position.

In particular the Facilities Assistant provides administrative support in terms of reporting, scheduling, project management, data entry, health and safety support, file management, accounting processes, and office organization within the Facilities Department.


Qualifications/Assets:

Post-secondary diploma in a related field. (Administration/Business/Bookeeping)

Previous experience providing administrative support within a school division is considered an asset.

Previous experience in a similar role is considered an asset.

Strong computer skills in word processing, database and spreadsheet.

Understands the importance of confidentiality, professional discretion, effective time management and problem-solving.

Salary will be commensurate with experience and St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Schools offers a comprehensive benefit plan.
