- Deliver client care as per the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Saskatchewan
- Provide ongoing care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Create and execute client care plans
- Safely implement physician's orders
- Administer medications
- Maintain accurate progress records on clients
- Facilitate clients' involvement in addiction treatment
- Take appropriate action during medical emergencies
- Offer counseling to clients, families, and/or significant others on recovery issues
- Ensure a therapeutic environment for clients
- Provide health education to clients
- Organize client appointments and referrals
- Participate in assessing, planning, and evaluating client care
- Assist the public with crisis intervention and addiction information
- Perform other assigned duties
- Graduate of an accredited school of Licensed Practical Nurses with pharmacological training
- Registered LPN in Saskatchewan
- Current basic CPR certification
- Relevant clinical experience, including medication administration and leadership responsibilities
- Consistent attendance record
- Preferred leadership/charge experience
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Knowledge of person-centered care approach
- Team player with interdisciplinary work skills

This facility delivers vital services to those in need of specialized emergency shelter support, assessing and accommodating clients based on their individual needs to provide community-based services.
As an integral part of our interdisciplinary team, the LPN role involves conducting thorough assessments of clients with mental health and addiction issues, managing treatments, offering guidance, and prescribing medications in compliance with legal standards.
