Job Summary:

Now, if you were to come on board as our
Payroll/Scheduler, we'd ask you to do the following for us:

Payroll and Benefits administration including:

Enter payroll information for supervisor, administrative and hourly employees
Process payroll adjustments, status change forms.
Post seniority lists as per collective agreement.
Liaise with central Compass support staff to trouble shoot benefit issues and payroll
Assist Manager/supervisors with WCB claims and reports
Coordinate New Hire paperwork with HR, payroll, benefits & criminal checks

High working knowledge and proficiency utilizing PC based tools (Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Access, Excel and PowerPoint)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and prioritization skills as well as attention to detail
Ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information
Experience with an automated payroll system
