Description:


  • Partner and work closely with the Talent Acquisition and Sourcing teams with a focus on diverse representation as an outcome in all positions and strategic posting and outreach.
  • Search and Identify opportunities to achieve increases in diversity representation across the organization.
  • Grow the organization's relationships with current and future external partners, including educational institutions and communitybased job fairs.
  • Leverage institutional and community relationships to support Air Canada's hiring and diverse representation needs.
  • Manage, influence and nurture all aspects of Air Canada's partnerships with underrepresented groups across Canada.
  • Innovate and develop creative ways to reach out and attract targeted audiences.
  • Serve as an ambassador in promoting Air Canada to external stakeholders.
  • Recommend, implement, and coordinate activities to raise Air Canada's visibility and increase the employability of underrepresented groups.
Establish priorities of tasks associated with job fairs/activities/events to allocate appropriate resources to optimize results.

  • Ensure brand identity and guidelines are respected.
  • Keep up to date with the employment market and its trends.
  • Work closely with the talent acquisition team to coordinate events, post and develop a process to help achieve hiring objectives.
  • Participate in meetings with various associations or in conferences on diversity, equity or inclusion to increase awareness.
  • Represent Air Canada at events, job fairs, presentations within communities, schools or at other functions, galas, etc.
  • Work closely and collaborate with Air Canada Ambassadors when attending events.
  • Communicate internally and externally about upcoming events

Qualifications

  • Postsecondary degree
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Talent Acquisition, with DEI experience an asset.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and webbased applicant HR systems (Taleo) is an asset
  • Deep understanding of Canadian employment (including Employment Equity Act) legislation
  • Highly organized and analytical.
  • Diplomacy and tact particularly in working with diverse groups.
  • Selfstarter requiring minimum supervision with good decisionmaking ability.
  • Selfdiscipline and proactive.
  • Innovative with a positive attitude,
  • High level of Integrity.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong orientation towards customer service.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including experience in presenting and speaking publicly to represent Company interests.
  • Fluency in French and English
  • Ability and flexibility to travel extensively (including weekends)
