    Computed Tomography Technologist Position

    This is a challenging and rewarding position for an individual with expertise in computed tomography.



    About the Role:


    We are seeking a highly skilled technologist to join our team at the Whistler Health Centre. As a Computed Tomography Technologist, you will be responsible for performing special procedure examinations in CT while observing safe radiation protection practices.


    • Perform duties such as receiving and completing requisitions, entering relevant data into the radiology information system, preparing examination trays and patients for specific procedures, operating computerized imaging equipment including processing and archiving of acquired data and monitors the patient during the procedures and equipment performance.


    Required Skills & Qualifications:


    To be successful in this role, you must have certification with the CAMRT (Computed Tomography) along with completion of an advanced specialty program in Computed Tomography or one year recent related experience in CT radiology procedures. Additionally, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certification - Basic Life Support (BLS) level is also required.


    • Demonstrated knowledge of standards of practice established by national professional associations relevant to medical imaging practitioners
    • Knowledgeable about evidence-based practice related to designated modality
    • Strong understanding of current General Radiography theory within a patient-centered model
