The Food and Beverage Assistant Manager is responsible for the management supervision administration and efficient operation of the front of house operations of the Selkirk Restaurant and Railway Cafe. The position requires strong leadership skills customer service values and a high level of tact and sensitivity when dealing with customers.Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day front of house operations including opening and closing procedures reservation management seating assignments health safety regulations food safety standards licensing requirements inventory levels requisitioning supplies performing other duties as assigned collaborating with Marketing promotional business building ideas print menu collateral coordinating ticketed events special themed dining experiences cash handling point sale procedures proposing wine beverage offering working closely with Chef de Cuisine expeditor server bartender hosts table settings maintaining restaurant equipment online reservation system weekly payroll thoroughness accuracy supervising staff assigning tasks setting monitoring workflow providing feedback ensuring work standards expectations scheduling staff adequate service cost-efficient adhering budgets conducting monthly annual inventories.
