As part of our Shared Services group, comprised of Finance, Marketing, Communications, Human Resources, Commercial, Legal and Facilities, we support the business achieve their goals through a range of strong technical capabilities.

We ensure delivery of services through the skills of our people, methodologies, and systems.


Responsibilities:


  • Conduct interviews, research, and actively collaborate with our internal clients for the successful strategic planning and delivery of communications deliverables
  • Communicate with product designers and developers to understand our client value proposition
  • Develop internal communications that support the global rollout of complex campaigns across Hatch, strategizing with team members for best outcomes
  • Create, curate, and manage content on our corporate intranet
  • Support content strategy for leadership messaging across the organization
  • Contribute weekly/monthly content to our intranet sites that raises awareness across the organization and engages and informs internal audiences in compelling ways that foster a sense of belonging
  • Collaborate with regional Marketing leads and sector Marketing leads to communicate key initiatives, providing guidance on strategic best practices
  • Generate communications plans, and scheduling as required
  • Write for and contribute to Hatch's internal editorial content with daily publishing deadlines
  • Support the execution of corporate events with scripting, creative direction, and logistics
  • Write for and contribute to various communications and marketing materials, such as presentations, event collateral, and digital content
  • Research and compile relevant and highly technical information, creating interesting stories that inspire
  • Liaise directly with leadership outside of the marketing department and across various disciplines, practices, and geographies to support the business and provide strategic guidance
  • Monitor analytics in alignment with established KPIs, create reporting and provide insight for ongoing measurement of success and improvement
  • Working in partnership with our creative team, collaborate for the most effective presentation of information

Qualifications:


  • A college diploma or university degree in the field of Communications, Journalism, or English with minimum of v10 years of work experience in the field with demonstrated problemsolving abilities
  • Experience gathering and analyzing business requirements and highly technical information and proven ability to write compelling copy to engage clients/target audiences and foster a sense of belonging
  • Creative and critical thinking skills and usage of photographs, drawings, diagrams, animation, and charts that increase users' understanding
  • Knowledge of Canadian Press and Chicago Style Guides is an asset
  • A flair for creating compelling written communication, strong organizational, and time management skills, and experience establishing KPIs, monitoring analytics, and reporting on outcomes
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet scheduled deadlines
  • Excellent attention to detail and an ability to actively listen with proven ability to establish production working relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Strong understanding of client relationship management and industry best practices
  • Ability to work as part of a highly collaborative team, providing insightful input and mentoring junior team members
  • Adaptability in a dynamic, complex, and fast past delivery environment
  • Creativity and experience with a wide range of innovative communications approaches
  • Professional and friendly attitude with excellent customer service skills
  • Experience working in the construction, engineering, or technology industries is an asset
  • Strong computer skills and experience with Adobe Creative Suite is an asset
  • Experience using social media as an internal communications tool is an asset
