Electrical Supervisor

Vector Electric and Controls is currently requesting resumes for a Industrial Supervisor
for medium scaled municipal water treatment projects in Northern Alberta. A competitive wage and benefit package will be offered to the successful applicant.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Upholds Company values of safety, teamwork, professionalism, growth, and integrity.
  • Point of contact for contractor's & General Contractor's field superintendent
  • Possess complete knowledge of all Codes, drawings, specifications, construction schedules, electrical equipment submittals, and mechanical equipment submittals etc.
  • Responsible for managing and training all jobsite field personnel
  • Responsible for providing and establishing a safe work place for all employees onsite
  • Responsible for the complete field execution of the construction and performance of the electrical contract work and to maintain project schedules scheduling concerns
  • Responsible for tracking jobsite materials and tools
  • Responsible for scheduling and conducting all jobsite inspections, testing, and owner training
  • Promote company reputation

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:


  • Journeyman electrician with a minimum 35 years of experience as a electrical foreman, previous water/wastewater experience an asset.
  • Basic computer knowledge, ability to navigate in Outlook and Excel
  • Able to work as a team and individually with a positive and professional attitude
  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • CSTS2020, Standard First Aid, Fall Protection, Manlift certification required
  • Valid and clean class 5 Driver's License required
  • Pre-Access Testing may be required.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • High attention to detail and takes pride in workmanship.

Salary:
From $43.23 per hour

  • 10 hour shift
  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

Experience:

Electrical Supervisor: 2 years (required)

  • Water/Wastewater: 1 year (preferred)
  • Electrical: 6 years (required)

Language:


  • English (required)

Licence/Certification:

  • Clean Class 5 Licence (required)
