Position Title:
Summer Student - Loyalty Marketing Coordinator (8 Month Term)


Team and Location:
Loyalty Programs - Calgary, AB


Position Summary:


The Loyalty Marketing Coordinator Summer Student is responsible for providing exceptional support to our Loyalty Programs team of Parkland for the 8-month term.

As a member of the Loyalty Programs team, you will be assisting with the day-to-day activities that include assisting in developing and executing promotional campaigns, collaborate with partners.

The student will also be responsible for assisting in analyzing and reporting of Key Performance Indicators. The student will provide overall support to Loyalty Programs team for special projects as assigned.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Assist in developing and executing promotional campaigns.
  • Collaborate with both internal and external partners with coordinating approvals, gathering product information and creative assets.
  • Review campaign material and other loyalty assets before they go in market.
  • Assist in analyzing and reporting of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for loyalty campaigns.
  • Support the daytoday management of the loyalty program and other loyalty initiatives as required.

Qualifications and Skills:


  • You are available for an 8month term beginning on or around May 202
  • You are currently enrolled at a Canadian postsecondary institution working towards a Bachelor in Business with a focus in marketing or a related discipline, you have completed the 1st year of your program, with a good standing GPA of 2.9 or above.
  • You have exceptional interpersonal skills and possess natural leadership as demonstrated in academic and/or extracurricular activities.
  • You have highly developed verbal and written communication skills to enable you to thrive in a challenging and exciting work environment.
  • You have tenacity and an entrepreneurial spirit and are passionate about seeking out winwin solutions.
  • You have a high attention to detail.
  • You have strong MS Office skills including Word, Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.
  • You have highly developed verbal and written communication skills to enable you to thrive in a challenging and exciting work environment; bilingual in French and English is an asset.
  • You will be part of a global team and must be able to work effectively through a high degree of collaboration and communication through inperson meetings and video conferences.
