Job Title:
Patient Experience Coordinator


Location: 5892 Main St. Stouffville, ON

Responsibilities:


  • Warmly Greet and

Assist Patients:
_ You will be the first point of contact for patients visiting our clinic. Greet them with a friendly and welcoming demeanor, ensuring they feel comfortable and supported throughout their visit.

  • Appointment Scheduling:_ Efficiently manage appointment bookings, rescheduling, and cancellations. Work with practitioners to optimize scheduling and minimize wait times.
  • Patient Records Management: _Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, ensuring all information is updated and organized properly in our electronic health records (EHR) system.
  • Billing and Payments:_ Handle patient payments, process insurance claims, and assist with billingrelated inquiries.
  • Maintain Reception Area:_ Keep the reception area clean, organized, and presentable.
  • Support Clinic Operations:_ Collaborate with the clinic team to ensure smooth daily operations and support other administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements:


  • Excellent Communication Skills:_ Strong verbal and written communication abilities are essential for this role. Fluency in English is required.
  • Customer Service Oriented:_ A friendly and patientcentric attitude is a must. Previous experience in customer service or a healthcare setting is advantageous.
  • Organized and Detail-Oriented:_ The ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and maintain attention to detail is crucial in this role.
  • Technology Proficient:_ Comfortable using computer systems, electronic health records (EHR), and basic office software.
  • Professionalism:_ Demonstrate professionalism, empathy, and confidentiality when dealing with patients and their sensitive information.
  • Availability:_ Monday, Wednesday and Friday with some Saturdays as needed.
  • Preferred Qualifications:_ While not required, experience in a similar receptionist or administrative role within a healthcare environment is a plus.
  • Eligibility to Work:_ Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada
