Job Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year experience working in a veterinary hospital or other clinical setting.
- New graduates from vet assistant programs are welcome and encouraged to apply
- Experience with AVImark veterinary software is an asset
Roles & Responsibilities:
- General reception duties including, but not limited to: answering phone calls; booking appointments; maintaining and updating patient files; and invoicing out clients
- Placing and receiving inventory orders
- Cleaning the facility, equipment and instruments; wrapping and autoclaving surgical packs; laundry
- Assist the DVM/Technicians during appointments, with treatments, and in surgeries, including restraining patients; assisting with xrays; preparing medication to be dispensed

Part-time hours: 28 per week

From $17.00 per hour
