SUMMARY

Collins Digital Technology is seeking a highly motivated and individual as a database administrator for development and support of corporate databases.

This position is for a developer with experience in the areas of Oracle and SQL Server, with the opportunity to grow into reporting and analytics for Customer Apps.

This position is a fully remote role

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Understand and translate customer requirements

Support project teams and communicate status of database issues

Support the daily maintenance and operations of the corporate databases

Work with team members in their support of project activities

Support data governance and metadata management documentation, processes, and activities

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 12 years of relevant experience

Experience with Production Oracle Databases

Experience UNIX and Shell Scripting

Experience with Oracle PL/SQL

Experience with Data Movement Technology and Security.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience in Data Warehousing Concepts

Experience with Business Intelligence and Reporting Tools

Experience with Middleware and ETL tools

Knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server

Knowledge of Cloud Services - AWS, Azure, etc.
