Our company, a logistic management, distribution, and warehousing enterprise is expanding and requires the right person to join their team and contribute to the on-going success of their operation.

We are looking for a knowledgeable and experienced Customer Service Representative.

Under the direction of the manager, efficiency and customer service will be a priority.

The Customer Service Representative is accountable to facilitate the receiving and storing, moving and shipping of supplies, stock and materials, effectively managing the timely flow of order processing.


The designated employee, among other assigned responsibilities, will perform the following principal tasks:

  • Respond to customer enquiries, providing quick turnaround;
  • Identify and assess customers' needs to achieve satisfaction
  • Build sustainable relationships of trust through open and interactive communication
  • Data entry for both shipping and receiving into the Trucking Management System (TMS);
  • Provide accurate, valid and complete information by using the right methods/tools
  • Handle complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution
  • Work closely with dispatch to ensure flawless transition of information
  • Participate in meetings to improve productivity, resolve customer service issues and manage workload of team;
  • Assist with training of new employees within department;
  • Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships within the team, as well as cross functionally;
  • Take care of importexport and relations with customs officers
  • Execute any other logistics customer service related tasks as assigned by the direct Manager.

Qualifications:

-
Minimum of 3 years experience of customer service (in the logistics and warehousing industry, an asset);

  • Ability to communicate well in French.
  • Energetic, hardworking, great attitude, sense of urgency, team player;
  • Customer service oriented;
  • Strong communication, organization skills and attention to detail;
  • Proficiency with computer systems, including Microsoft office and Truckmate (Asset).
