POSITION DESCRIPTION:

To assist in the preparation and collection of products related to the Sample Shop regarding samples, displays, and other products.

Work under the Sample Shop Coordinator to assist with the growth of the sample shop department in receipt and delivery of product


Hours of work:
20 hours/week (Part-Time) Mondays-Fridays. Possible opportunity to become Full-Time.

These may include, but are not limited to:

• Products: Inbound and Outbound
• Deliveries
• Delivery of product to customers, when applicable
• Arrange product for outbound shipments to customers and/or Territory Managers/Sales Reps.
• Sample Shop creation of samples: use of electrical tools including saw
• Liaison between the Sample Shop Coordinator and Quality Control Coordinator, when applicable
• Sample Shop maintenance
• Organization and tidyup the warehouse
• Report any hazards and or other related warehousing concerns
• Take out garbage/waste
• Maintain list of supplies that require restocking/ordering and advise Communications/Policies Director of all order requests
• Create/make sample and or product requests
• Lifting/packaging products
• Must be able to lift heavy material (up to and over 50 lbs.) regularly
• Assist when carriers require unloading/loading of product

Prior experience in carpentry/wood working/trimming preferred. Experience with saws and/or power tools preffered. Experience with fork lift preferred.


Pay:
Hourly wage commensurate with experience, minimum $16/hour.
