Description
Facilitate the deployment and support of all APS standards, principles, and practices throughout the organization. Sets up and conducts audits to ensure compliance

Champion the plant Continuous Improvement savings project

Manage Business Continuity Plan planning and conducts quarterly simulations

Manage MOVE system and conducts monthly Idea generation meetings to find cost savings

Manages 5S program; scheduling audits and follow up to enusre program non-conformances are managed and closed

Conduct monthly Continuous Improvement / APS status reports within the organization

Manage Value Stream Mapping activities ensuring waste is identified and eliminated; tracks related cost savings


Serve as the Kaizen Coach by assisting the plant with Kaizen identification, completion and reporting; loads monthly Kaizen activity and archive report.

Presents quartely Kaizen to coroporate office.

Perform APS, 5S, Layered Process Audits, MUDA(waste) and safety audits, ensures compliance with all related IATF 16949 and ISO-14001 procedures

Your qualifications

Bachelors degree in Engineering (Industrial or Mechanical Engineering) or Business Management is strongly preferred

3+ years of related work experience in an automotive manufacturing environment is required, including hands-on experience implementing and supervising Six Sigma and Lean projects

Must be comfortable working with and presenting to all levels of the organization, excellent oral and written skills, including presentation skills

Certified Six Sigma Black Belt strongly preferred

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals

Ability to write detailed reports, analysis and correspondence, effectively presenting information and responding to questions from groups of senior managers, customers and suppliers

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions

Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, or schedule form

Proficient in MS Office software (including Teams, PowerPoint, Project, Word, and Excel), MS Access software and Mini-Tab preferred
