    Reporting to the Director, NPK Digital Transformation, the Senior Service Delivery Manager (SDM) is a strong functional and technical resource who works directly with a variety of stakeholders providing leadership to ensure business solutions are effectively implemented and business value is achieved. The Senior SDM will spearhead the prioritized delivery of strategic projects for our Nitrogen (N), Phosphate (P), and Potash (K) operations working to bring cross functional teams together from IT and other central groups ensuring aligned and sustainable transformational solutions. With the aid of the larger team, they will then ensure those solutions meet the requirements and vision for the operations. This role will collaborate with site stakeholders on all areas of the solution from design, delivery, and transition to sustainment for the solutions they help deliver. The successful candidate will be responsible for prioritizing work across multiple products to deliver new requirements, and update solutions as business needs are determined.

    What you will do:

    • Strategic Alignment and Collaboration:

    o Partner with business and other stakeholders to plan delivery of IT services and solutions that are designed to meet business needs

    o Understand NPK operations, collaborate with multiple stakeholders from numerous operating sites and digital delivery partners, anticipate and offer solutions as opportunities arise (actively explore innovative ideas / potential)

    o Ensure aligned value cases are created and endorsed (centrally and by operations) for all solutions being delivered. Ensure look back on value captured and lessons learned are completed

    o Prioritize the portfolio ensuring the highest impact to the operations

    • Delivery:

    o Provide supervision and oversight to ensure successful development and delivery of enhancements, improvements, and projects. Coordinate efforts with diverse teams of cross functional resources to ensure no operational issues

    o Contribute to delivery of solutions as required to ensure success (with success defined by the technical delivery, user adoption, value capture, and sustainment plans). As such you will be a strong functional and technical resource who works directly with a variety of stakeholders to ensure business value is achieved

    • Facilitation and Reporting:

    o Drive planning processes to deliver on new and existing projects, enhancements, facilitate planning sessions and produce regular reporting on outcomes

    • Security, Regulatory Compliance:

    o Ensure compliance with security, regulatory & audit practices, guidelines, and standards

    • Collaboration:

    o Maintain productive relationships with all levels of workforce throughout operations and IT

    o Engage with stakeholders and leverage IT resources to ensure that data insights are effectively communicated through the most appropriate data visualization and navigation tools

    o Mentor, guide, and provide coaching to junior resources in the department based on your experience and leadership abilities

    • Portfolio Planning:

    o Provide input to IT leadership on both short-term and long-term portfolio planning in support of business strategy. In particular define, plan, and generally own the items in the positions specific portfolio

    o Develop and maintain the vision for the portfolio of products; ensure they maintain a high level of quality and deliver significant value to our operations

    o Actively seek and identify where digital solutions can provide value to business areas across the BUs, provide solutions to BUs analytical problems and validate the solution performance

    • This role will include travel as per project needs (primarily in North America)

    What you will bring:


    • Minimum 2 Year Technical Diploma/Degree with significant experience in a relevant field. Higher level education (Bachelors, Masters, or PhD) is an asset but not required

    • 8+ years of combined experience across technology domains and in particular technical solution delivery in multiple industrial areas (operations, maintenance, construction, engineering, etc.) and across multiple domains of technology: software, hardware, mobility, communications, robotics, automation, etc

    • A vision, passion, aptitude, and pragmatic approach for using technology to add value to the people you support

    • Excellent interpersonal and team building skills with a positive attitude and demonstrated ability to establish strong relationships with operations leaders, IT leaders and vendors (including geographical dispersed teams)

    • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, including strong presentation skills with experience presenting to and fielding questions from various levels of the organization including front line employees to senior leaders

    • Familiarity with evaluation of commercial solutions (hardware and software)

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving experience paired with the ability to develop creative and efficient solutions

    • Goal oriented and flexible with proven track record in collaborating with multiple stakeholders

    • Track record of successful execution of results in a team setting

    • Experience establishing new technologies to broad and geographically dispersed audiences

    • A Valid Driver's License is required
