Part-Time Academic: SLWK 5003 Critical Clinical Practice Foundations for Social Work Intervention - Halifax Regional Municipality, Canada - Dalhousie University

WORK ASSIGNMENT: The part-time academic will be responsible for teaching: SLWK 5003, "Critical Clinical Practice Foundations for Social Work Intervention " . The course will be offered in the Fall term , from September-December 2024 . To confirm class times and locations, please refer to the Dalhousie University Academic Timetable. Note: this course is part of the MSW program.

The part-time academic will be responsible for all aspects of teaching and administering the course, including preparing and delivering lectures and preparation and grading of assignments. In addition, the part-time academic should expect to be engaged in course preparations for one-two months preceding course delivery.

Qualifications/Requirements of Position

REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION: A Master of Social Work degree, or higher, and previous teaching experience is preferred. As this is a practice course a knowledge base in weaving social work practice skills with theory and policy is also required.
