- Manage all aspects of financial reporting, including financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Develop and implement financial strategies, plans, and budgets to support the Foundation's goals and objectives.
- Conduct financial analysis, modeling, and forecasting to guide strategic decision-making.
- Oversee budgeting processes and ensure adherence to financial plans.
- Perform trend analysis and cost management to optimize financial performance.
- Manage cash flow to ensure the financial stability of the organization.
- Coordinate and manage internal and external audits.
- Ensure compliance with international regulatory standards and Canadian tax laws.
- Assess and manage financial risks, including developing risk mitigation strategies.
- Utilize Quickbooks for efficient financial management.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP accounting principles and IFRS certification standards.
- Communicate financial performance and insights to senior management and stakeholders.
- Negotiate and manage relationships with outside financial vendors and service providers.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; MBA degree preferred.
- Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification required.
- IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) certification preferred.
- Proven experience in the cryptocurrency, blockchain, or tech industry.
- Extensive experience of financial analysis, financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and trend analysis.
- Strong experience of cost management, cash flow management, and audit processes.
- In-depth knowledge of international regulatory standards and Canadian tax laws is a bonus.
- Proficiency with Quickbooks required.
- Experience with ERP software is a plus.
- Strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Job Description
The Opentensor Foundation is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Controller to manage and oversee our financial operations. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a cryptocurrency, blockchain, or tech company, coupled with strong financial analytical skills. The Controller will be responsible for financial analysis, modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with Canadian tax laws and international regulations.
