This is a leading provider of automotive maintenance services, and we are seeking skilled and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Lube Technicians.
As a Lube Technician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and performing a variety of automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, filter replacements, fluid checks, and other general vehicle maintenance services.
You will work in a fast-paced environment, interacting with customers and using your technical skills to ensure that vehicles are serviced efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Perform oil changes, filter replacements, fluid checks, and other general vehicle maintenance tasks using specialized tools and equipment.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner, answering their questions, and explaining services.
- Perform basic vehicle inspections to identify any potential issues and make recommendations for further repairs or maintenance.
- Keep accurate records of services performed, including recording parts used, labor hours, and other relevant information.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring that all tools, equipment, and supplies are properly stored and maintained.
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines, including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and following proper procedures for handling hazardous materials.
- Stay updated on new automotive technologies and industry trends through ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure smooth workflow and efficient service delivery.
- Uphold company standards of quality, professionalism, and integrity in all interactions with customers and team members.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and technical skills, including familiarity with various automotive systems and components.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively and courteously with customers.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in performing maintenance tasks and recording information.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic computer skills for recording and accessing information.
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours as needed.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Working Conditions:
Lube Technicians work in a fast-paced, sometimes noisy environment, often standing for extended periods of time and performing physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and reaching.
They may be exposed to various weather conditions and hazardous materials, and must adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.
Lube Technicians typically work in a service bay or shop setting, and may be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as necessary.
