Job Overview:
The Overnight Dog Boarder is responsible for providing exceptional care and supervision to dogs staying overnight at our facility.

This role requires a deep understanding of canine behavior, a passion for animal welfare, and the ability to ensure the safety and well-being of all dogs in our care.

Responsibilities:

Provide overnight care and supervision for dogs staying at our facility.
Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all dogs by following established protocols and guidelines.
Monitor and maintain a clean and hygienic environment for the dogs, including regular cleaning of kennels, play areas, and common spaces.
Feed dogs according to their specific dietary requirements and administer medications as instructed by the owners.
Engage in playtime and exercise activities with the dogs to ensure they receive adequate mental and physical stimulation.
Monitor dogs' behavior and health, promptly reporting any concerns or issues to the boarding manager or veterinarian.
Maintain accurate records of each dog's activities, behavior, and any special instructions provided by the owners.
Provide regular updates to management regarding their dogs' wellbeing and activities during their stay.
Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents or injuries to dogs or staff members.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience working with dogs in a professional setting, such as a boarding facility, veterinary clinic, or animal shelter.
Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments with confidence and compassion.
Ability to work overnight shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.
Physical stamina and ability to perform tasks that may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Reliable and punctual, with a strong sense of responsibility towards the wellbeing of the dogs in our care.
