Preparing surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes or cracks

  • Protecting surrounding areas from paint splatter or damage
  • Following safety guidelines and use proper protective equipment
  • Maintaining tools and equipment in good working condition
  • Collaborating with team members to ensure efficient workflow
  • Communicating with supervisor concerning what needs painting, in order of priority
  • Repairing all damages incurred in walls, caulks tubs and ceramic tile
  • Performing all tasks in a neat and efficient manner including cleaning all brushes, rollers and equipment and returning equipment to their designated storage facility at the end of each day
  • Performing other duties as required
  • Previous experience as a Painter in the construction or residential painting industry is required
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to produce highquality work
  • In good physical condition with mobility and flexibility to use ladders, access work in confined spaces, and lift up to 50 lbs
  • Well organized and work with a sense of urgency
  • Work well under pressure and maintain a pleasant demeanor under stress
  • Maintain a high standard of safety and cleanliness
  • Possess good communication skills and be able to accurately read and act on instructions
  • Willing and able to travel between sites

Pay:
$20.00-$25.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Edmonton, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
