    The Group Event Coordinator plays a key support role within the Group Event Management (GEM) team during the summer season, providing administrative, coordination, and on-site assistance across the full lifecycle of group and event business.

    This is a fast-paced, highly collaborative position supporting Sales and Group Event Planners with contracting, booking, documentation, systems management, and event execution.

    The role blends sales coordination, event administration, and hands-on event support, with no two days looking the same
    This role is a seasonal position to support 2026 Spring/Summer and is based as an in-person role in Banff from May – October 2026.*ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
    Reservation & Event Coordination
    Serve as the primary coordinator for assigned small group attraction and food & beverage bookings, managing client communication, booking, invoicing, travel coordination, arrival, and post-event billing Support Group Event Planners with larger group programs, including BEO preparation and event documentation Input and manage confirmed group rooming lists for Group Event Planners Prepare event materials including menus, buffet labels, signage, and floorplans Provide on-site event coordination and support, including evenings and weekends as requiredSales Support & Event Administration
    Provide administrative support to Sales, including contract, invoice, and quote preparation as required Coordinate booking details for venues, hotels, attractions, tickets, and other Pursuit products as directed by Sales Assist Sales with maintaining Sales CRM systems, including client lists, post-tradeshow follow-ups, and reportingSystems & Data Management
    Assist in the management and administration of Pursuit's public asset portal, ensuring up-to-date collateral, photography, menus, and floorplans for client use Maintain Event CRM menu and venue content, including seasonal and annual menu and data updates and collateral refreshes Support data entry, system updates, and platform migrations across booking and CRM tools Ensure accuracy and consistency of group documentation, menus, pricing, and event records REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
    Energetic, enthusiastic, and highly organized with the ability to multitask effectively Strong customer service background with a guest-first mindset Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills Comfortable presenting / leading groups of varying sizes Detail-oriented with strong administrative and organizational skills Adaptable to flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends during peak periods Proficient in Microsoft Office (Windows environment) Experience with Delphi, Salesforce, or similar systems is an asset but not required Valid Alberta Class 5 driver's license (or equivalent)We're more than a hospitality and attractions company.
