Description
Duties:
- Safely operate a bus or van to transport passengers to their destinations
- Follow predetermined routes and schedules
- Ensure the safety of passengers during transit
- Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking the vehicle
- Collect fares or tickets from passengers, if applicable
- Provide excellent customer service to passengers
- Maintain a clean and orderly bus or van
- Conduct pretrip and posttrip inspections of the vehicle
- Report any mechanical issues or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel
Skills:
- Possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to educate and interact with diverse populations, including seniors and children
- Bilingual or multilingual abilities, particularly in Spanish, is a plus
- Experience working with children or in senior care is preferred
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques is beneficial
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor vehicle maintenance is desirable
Salary:
$36,250.00-$48,706.00 per year
