Job summary

Cut, sort and pile lumber wood products during various stages of wood processing Feed conveyors and saws to process wood products Clean wood processing machines and equipment and work areas using shovels hoses brushes brooms and other tools Assemble wooden pallets using hand tools pneumatic nail guns and other equipment as required Assist other wood processing workers to carry out other wood processing activities Inspect finished product for defects or damage ensuring compliance with company and industry standards Stack move and organize product within the production area following safety guidelines Maintain a clean safe work environment adhering to workplace health safety regulations Report equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors promptly The successful candidate will have the following High school diploma preferably- can be in carpentry woodworking courses One three years experience in an industrial setting where health safety programs were in place where there was a production process schedules were set deadlines were met Good shop math skills can read a tape measure we work in both imperial metric basic statistics We want people who demonstrate the desire continuously learn improve processes communicate well want results demonstrate positive attitude self-confidence Work well team embrace challenge Job Types Full-time Permanent from $20 hour Ability commute relocate Murillo ON reliably commute plan relocate before starting work required Work Location In person
