OVERVIEW_


The Corporate Finance Analyst supports financing, debt and cash flow management, in addition to assessing the Company's financial performance using complex financial models, while also contributing to the creation of various financial and operating reports.


  • RESPONSIBILITIES_
  • Controls and optimizes cash management, in collaboration with Accounting.
  • Manages debt, financial commitments, and the relationship with lenders, including financial information to be shared with them according to agreements.
  • Ensures that the operating sites' financial models are kept up to date.
  • Actively participates in the budgeting process and the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and operating reports.
  • Prepares presentations and other communication tools for external and internal stakeholders, including financial reports on major project investments.
  • Gathers necessary data about the Company and the industry and prepares summaries of financial and operating information.
  • Supports the due diligence process and assists in analyzing acquisition opportunities, as well as supports the execution of financing transactions.
  • Manages multiple projects simultaneously and works efficiently, both individually and in collaboration with the team.
  • Handles other projects or mandates for the Director of Finance and the CFO.
  • EDUCATION_
  • University degree in business/commerce, finance, or accounting.
  • EXPERIENCE_
  • At least two years of experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, or treasury.
  • SKILLS AND ABILITIES_
  • Indepth knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Financial modeling skills are an asset.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to deal with staff at all levels, at productions sites and head office, as well as with financial institution representatives.
  • Focused on quality and efficient at time management.
  • Mastery of analytical thinking, prioritization, and execution.
  • Indepth knowledge of and skills in accounting.
  • Mastery of research and analysis techniques.
  • Insightful decisionmaking and judgment.
  • Strong work ethic, integrity, and positive team spirit.
  • High level of selfconfidence and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to respond appropriately and calmly to emergencies, and respectful of deadlines.
