    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a detail-oriented Master Production Scheduler to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing our production schedule to ensure efficient utilization of resources, timely delivery of products, and alignment with customer demand. This role requires exceptional organizational skills, strong analytical abilities, and the ability to collaborate effectively with the warehouse and other various teams departments across the organization.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and maintain an effective production schedule that maximizes efficiency and minimizes costs while meeting customer demand and inventory targets.
    • Utilize the current SAP process in place to effectively plan and schedule for order and deliveries, and for forecasting accuracy.
    • Analyze production capacity, material availability, and resource constraints to identify potential bottlenecks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, procurement, logistics, and sales to gather relevant data and ensure alignment of schedules with business objectives.
    • Monitor production progress and proactively identify deviations from the schedule, recommending corrective actions as needed to minimize disruptions and meet deadlines.
    • Generate regular reports and metrics to track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, production efficiency, and inventory levels.
    • Continuously evaluate and refine scheduling processes to drive continuous improvement and adapt to changing business needs.
    • Act as a liaison between production management and other stakeholders to communicate schedule changes, resolve conflicts, and address any issues that may arise.
    • Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements related to production scheduling, and make recommendations for incorporating relevant innovations into our processes.
    • Train and mentor junior members of the scheduling team, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills and contribute to the overall success of the department.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, operations research, industrial engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
    • Proven experience in production scheduling or materials planning, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
    • Must have knowledge and working experience in SAP systems
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
    • Proficiency in using advanced planning and scheduling software such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft Dynamics AX.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build strong working relationships.
    • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision, particularly when managing complex schedules and large volumes of data.
    • Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically to resolve scheduling conflicts and optimize resource allocation.
    • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
    • Certification in production and inventory management (e.g., APICS CPIM) is desirable.
