Design Smart Security is looking for full time Installation Technicians, who would be responsible for installation and service of a wide range of systems, including CCTV, access control, intrusion alarms and more.

• Review job outline, scope of work and equipment list, prior to installation date, to ensure you understand the scope of work and are prepared for the job
• Ensure you have all equipment, peripherals and parts required, prior to going to job site
• Coordinate with customer and/or site supervisor to ensure a smooth installation experience
• Install (including prewire, installing, programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting) security panels and devices, cameras, card access and all peripherals required
• Provide customer with training for proper system usage and answer any technical inquiries
• Complete detailed and accurate paperwork, as per company guidelines
• Ensure site/workspace is cleaned up, prior to leaving job site, and report any errors or damages to your supervisor
• Be on time and professional

• Experience and confidence in working with DSC NEO & Hikvision.
• Be available to work out of town, and capable of working outdoors in minuszero temperatures
• Ability to work with a variety of tools including drilling/cutting through walls/floors
• Be open to suggestions and nonconfrontational
• Work well both as a team and independently
• Adheres to safety standards
• Ability to follow detailed instruction

• Valid Driver's Licence
