    Under the direction of the Manager of Research of the Negotiations Section, the Senior Research Officer plays a critical role in leading and coordinating the PSAC's negotiations and research programs.

    This position requires a unique blend of skills in research methodologies, workforce analysis, policy development, and project management. The officer will focus on advancing union objectives in collective bargaining, workplace change, and policy initiatives.

    University graduation in Economics, Industrial Relations, Public Administration or related disciplines with related experience OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

    Good knowledge of compensation policies and practices in the public and private sectors.
    Good research and analytical skills.
    Ability to work with spreadsheet and database software programs.
    Ability to analyze, evaluate, and interpret data.
