We are currently looking for a
Pricing Associate to join our team.

This role has a
remote work arrangement except for 1 day a month where Calgary area team members attend the Calgary office together.


YOUR ROLE


The Pricing Associate is responsible for the administration of preparing quote proposals for prospects and alternatives on in-force groups for the Regional Vice President and Business Development Managers (RVP/BDM).

This position is also responsible for maintaining partner records and creating scheduled or on-demand statistical and summary reporting.

After a period of time in the role, the position is also responsible for the final preparation of sold groups and the administration of preparing the annual renewal packages.


YOUR IMPACT

  • Review for required information and identify inconsistencies or inaccuracies in client census, plan design, rate history and experience in order to produce quotes
  • Create prospect and alternative quotes by entering into applicable software or underwriting arrangements for pricing by the RVP/BDM's while accurately adhering to all carrier underwriting guidelines
  • Maintain partner records on the CRM system
  • Create scheduled and ondemand summary and statistical reporting for advisors, clients, carriers and internal stakeholders
  • Accurately track correspondence and work items in a timely manner
  • Prepare an accurate sold quote before handoff to the New Business department for setup
  • Review and prepare required information for the annual client renewals for pricing by the RVP/BDM

  • Ability to work well under pressure, meet tight deadlines while adhering to departmental standards
  • Ability to work within a setting that is collaborative amongst the team members to meet our daily deadlines ie: what you start you may not be the one to finish
  • Selfmotivated and results oriented. Demonstrate good judgement with the ability to accomplish tasks expediently and with mínimal supervision
  • Microsoft Office with intermediate to advanced Word and Excel

THIS IS NICE

  • Experience in group benefits or administrative related field is an asset
  • Completion of postsecondary education in mathematics or statistics is an asset
