*Two-doses of vaccine are still required to work in LTC facilities*The Role

As Long-Term Care Security you will work one-on-one with a resident within a LTC environment.

You will play an integral part in the overall operation of the healthcare team as a friendly companion for the resident.

Your responsibilities will ultimately depend on your client's health and needs.

Core Responsibilities:

You will work in a team with another Security Guard to help prevent potential behavioral issues from escalating.
Document all incidents reported by nursing staff and maintain the resident's activity log. (May vary from location to location).
Working cooperatively with staff, volunteers, service providers and other stakeholders to meet resident and family needs.
Establish and maintain relationships with individuals and clients, modelling effective/efficient behavior and demonstrating acceptable professional behavior.
Reporting to the Director of Care and taking direction from various members of the Registered nursing team, the CCAs.

*Titan's LTC Security does not aid with activities of daily living such as brushing teeth, bathing, dressing, getting to the toilet, changing disposable garments, etc. If the resident is in a wheelchair and needs to go to an outside appointment the LTC health care staff will transfer the resident to the vehicle.

Skills and Qualifications:

Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
Dynamic and team oriented.
Delivering topclass service to our customers through effective communication and ability to build and foster relationships.
Proactive and curious with a desire to learn and grow.
Ability to successfully pass a background check to obtain a Security License.
Driver License & vehicle is considered an asset.
