The successful candidate will function efficiently and professionally in various aspects of patient care including casting services, wound management, skin traction application maintenance orthopedic equipment supplies record pertinent information perform removal sutures staples K-wires pins external fixators apply bivalves wedges windows casts fabricate various splints bandages using materials instruct patients proper use apply specialized casts assist physician procedures closed reduction fractures minor surgical procedures respond telephone inquiries remain current clinical practice technological advances participates ongoing education development participate instruction demonstration casting techniques students healthcare professionals order control stock soft goods casting material assist ER physician closed reductions lacerations assess ortho injuries triage EMS bay enter orders xrays help flow patientsJob description
