Position Overview:

Experience:

Basic 40 hour CSGB (Certificate) or a minimum of 3000 hours of guard experience.
Prior security work experience preferred.

Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate):

Completion of a high school or equivalent program of studies (GED), Manitoba standards required.
Diploma from a recognized educational institution for Security Officer Training or a combination of previous experience as a Peace Officer or military background.

Certification/Licensure/Registration:

Basic First Aid certification required.
Must have a valid and clear Manitoba driver's license. (Driver's abstract required)

Qualifications and Skills:

Nonviolent Crisis Intervention.

Physical Requirements:

Good physical and mental health required.

This term position may end earlier as outlined in your collective bargaining agreement
