Job Description:

We are currently recruiting for a Receiver Non-Ferrous with experience for our Moncton, New Brunswick location. Under the supervision of the Yard Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for the general maintenance of the premises.

  • Receive, sort and organize different types of nonferrous metals
  • Classify the nonferrous and establish the type of material
  • Properly weigh and track the material
  • Do general maintenance of the premises
  • Ensure the equipment in good condition
  • Data entry into the inhouse receiving software
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Help with torch cutting if necessary
  • Preparing shipments and receiving equipment using forklift as required
  • Work with a safety oriented mindset

Qualifications:


  • Experience in operating a forklift
  • Experience in metal recycling as asset
  • Experience with computer software and Microsoft office suite an asset
  • Ability to work indoors/outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Customer Service experience in a retail preferred
  • Ability to work as a team
  • Excellent attendance and safety record.

Additional Information:

  • Permanent and fulltime position;
  • 44 hours per week, including some rotating weekend work
  • Opportunity for overtime;
