Responsibilities:
Transcription Duties:
- Transcribe audio files with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Review and edit transcriptions for quality and adherence to formatting standards.
- Convert transcriptions to electronic formats following client guidelines.
General Responsibilities:
- Format legal verbatim transcripts according to ASAP quality control standards.
- Review transcripts for spelling and grammatical errors.
- Receive transcript orders and ensure relevant information is obtained and communicated to contractors.
- Enter order details into ASAP's transcript production software.
- Notify contractors of backorders, advising on delivery timelines, and making arrangements for delivery.
- Arrange printing, binding, courier, and delivery of transcripts, either inhouse or outsourced.
- Collaborate with other Document Formatter/Editors to split transcript production workload based on capacity and deadlines.
- Maintain an organized filing system for all transcript files and conversions.
- Perform administrative tasks such as maintaining logs, spreadsheets, and updating case information database.
- Work closely with the Operations Team to address client, operational, or workload issues.
- Propose and implement improvements related to efficiency or customer service.
- Manage all aspects of audio transcription requests, including preparing quotations, reviewing audio quality, converting files, resourcing transcriptionists, formatting transcripts, and preparing billing.
- Maintain the FTP site and ensure timely return of audio to clients.
- Prepare client billing in ASAP's software and collaborate with the Invoicing department to ensure accurate billing.
- Ensure strict adherence to client confidentiality.
- Other duties as required
Salary:
$50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
