ABOUT THE POSITION

Our Human Resources team is looking for two Human Resources Coordinators at our Headquarters located in London, Ontario, for a 6 month contract.

In this role you will be primarily responsible for the full-cycle recruitment of 100+ contract employees at the London Distribution Centre.


HOW YOU'LL MAKE A DIFFERENCE

  • Participate in the fullcycle recruitment and selection process.
  • Ensuring policy compliance requirements have been met for all new hires prior to their start date.
  • Scheduling and facilitating new hire orientations. This will include completing new hire paperwork, company policy training, and health and safety awareness training.
  • Organize and execute multiple job fairs (both inperson and virtual) to assist in reaching the headcount requirements.
  • Provide additional HR support for the Canada business, including organizing and updating employee records, preparing reports from Workday related to personnel metrics (i.e., staffing, turnover, training, and more), coordinating HR projects (i.e., meetings, training sessions, surveys, etc.), and managing employee requests.
  • Partnering with the HR Team to ensure we are meeting compliance requirements.
  • Work with employees and managers on daily transactional needs to help enhance the employee experience.
  • Professionally manage confidential employee information and employee files.

YOU ARE

  • Knowledgeable in Canadian Employment Law, Provincial Employment Standards, Ministry of Labour Regulations, and Canadian Human Rights.
  • Detailoriented and have strong organizational and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
  • Effective in communicating, orally and in writing, in oneonone situations and in small and medium group presentations.
  • Able to build and maintain positive and effective working relationships with all Columbia employees.
  • Capable of working effectively under deadline pressure and adjusting to a constantly changing work environment.
  • Able to use diplomacy and maintain confidentiality in handling situations that are sensitive in nature.
  • Able to self motivate, multitask, and work both independently and collaboratively with different teams.

YOU HAVE

  • Two to three years of human resources experience, with a focus in recruitment
  • A postsecondary degree or diploma in Human Resources
  • CHRP designation
  • Experience with Workday (HRIS)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
