We are a small animal veterinary clinic located in St.

Catharines, Ontario looking for an experienced Veterinary Assistant to join our team
. We have been providing love and exceptional medical care to cats & dogs in the Niagara Region since 1994.

At Huntington Animal Hospital we LOVE what we do; we enjoy working with pet owners to keep their animal family healthy and pain free.

We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic, self-motivated individual with a positive attitude and excellent technical, organizational, and communication skills.

The position will include assisting the Veterinarians and RVTs with their duties by restraining pets for physical exams and procedures, unpacking stock orders and stocking supplies in work areas around the hospital, cleaning and sterilizing equipment, and helping provide care to hospitalized patients.

General housekeeping, organizing, and reception work will also be part of the workday. The compensation package includes competitive pay, group benefits, and uniform and CE allowances.

$20-25 hourly

Experience:

A minimum of 3 years experience working as a Veterinary Assistant working in a clinical setting (required)
Successful completion of a 1 year Veterinary Assistant program
