What you will do:
- Shipping:
- Day to day operations as required ensuring customers products flow according to plan
- Accurately pick orders in a safe, timely and effective manner as per bill of lading
- Ensure all orders are staged and checked for accuracy and efficiency
- Load Trailers as per order of delivery
- Receiving:
- Receive product only destined for Access warehouse
- Receive bulk liquid and transfer to appropriate holding tank for production
- Inspect all received product for damages and transfer to assigned proper location within warehouse
- Bill of Lading:
- Ensure paperwork is properly distributed
- Ensure all information is legible and accurately filled out
- Production:
- Prepare empties for bulk pours including labeling
- Wash empties for bulk filling productions
- Assist with production lines as required
- Safety:
- Follow outlined procedures and safety protocols at all times.
- Participate in safety program to help reduce risk of injuries as well as loss or damage of company material equipment.
- Clean and Maintain warehouse
- Identify any deficiency immediately to Warehouse Supervisor
- Maintenance:
- Maintain warehouse in orderly fashion and ensure products are stored according to AWSA standards.
- Monitor warehouse equipment by following company procedures and policies
- Complete in house repairs as assigned by the Warehouse Manager
- Inventory Counts:
- Ensure that physical product matches product on bills of lading when shipping and receiving.
- Assist with Inventory counts as required for each customer as assigned by the Inventory Manager
What you will bring:
- Grade 12 or recognized equivalent
- Ability to maintain license to operate forklift as required following safety standards
- Additional hours of work and shift rotations will be required during our peak season (This position will operate Monday-Friday, 8AM5PM; in peak season [April-June], this position operates Sunday-Thursday, 9PM5AM)
