• Lean Six Sigma considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Requires comprehensive knowledge of business administration, strong computer skills for data analyzing and knowledge of rules, procedures, operational and technical issues related to areas of responsibility.
• Must have good knowledge of budgetary principles, research methods; working knowledge of computers and relevant computerized applications; and an aptitude for carrying out basic statistical analyses and developing proposals for action plans.
• Must possess sound judgment; effective time management skills; superior oral communication and writing skills; team building relationships, leadership skills, investigative, analytical and problem solving abilities; well-developed organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to develop, recommend and implement operational and administrative policies, procedures, standards, rules and performance measures.
• Background in operations and technical field, bringing forward new technology in transportation to improve rail operations, optimization techniques based on system modeling processes, network analysis including critical path method.
• Analyzing and interpreting the data to optimize processes.
• Engineering/technical background would be an asset,
• Attention to detail and thorough, proficient in report writing, and provide quantifiable information
