Put your expertise in the spotlight


As an expert within the Supply Chain team, you will play an important role in many supplier/partners -selection projects for Cirque du Soleil with the aim of getting the best value for the company and establishing mutually beneficial relationships with suppliers.

You will contribute in supporting the negotiations with the biggest suppliers and major partners.

Your main goals will be to help the department to generate a maximum savings, to negotiate the best value out of the new agreements and to support the internal clients in their requests.


Responsibilities:


  • Working closely with various sectors of the company to determine and understand their needs;
  • Supporting and advising internal clients in the development of procurement strategies and market analyses to optimize potential procurement levers;
  • Preparing and validating all documents related to the tendering process (NDA, RFI, RFP, evaluation grid, comparative analysis, etc.);
  • Managing the tendering process from requisition to supplier selection/negotiation and contract completion;
  • Performing quantitative and qualitative analyses of submissions in relation to predefined selection criteria with business units;
  • Contributing to the drafting/review of agreements and ensuring they include all negotiated elements, in collaboration with the Legal and Risk Management departments;
  • Monitoring the relationship with suppliers, including the invoicing and payment process;
  • Participating in administrative tasks required when starting a relationship with a supplier;
  • Measuring and documenting savings and performance indicators;
  • Ensuring the proper implementation and adherence to the Procurement policy in place at Cirque (exception procedures, signature and approval processes, etc.).

You possess the following professional and technical skills:

  • A university degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Law, Finance, or another relevant degree would be an asset;
  • A minimum of three years of relevant experience in procurement, tender management, or contract negotiation;
  • Knowledge of the F&B industry and travel sector is an asset;
  • The ability to read and understand business requirements;
  • ExperiencewithSerrala and SAP S4 is an asset;
  • Knowledge of invoicing and payment processes;
  • The ability to influence a multidisciplinary team and collaboratewithitsmembers;
  • Strong skills in managing different projects at once and organizational ability;
  • Excellent negotiation skills;
  • Analytical ability and a strong attention to detail;
  • High level of autonomy;
  • Strong proficiency in both French and English, with excellent communication skills.
