Description

The Desktop store builds coordinator is part of the GTO Canada End User Services team.

The member will be responsible for the coordination and inventory management of the deploy
ment of IT hardware for retail stores of our client. (New store openings, renovation, relocations etc).

The member will be working closely with our client team, vendors, internal desktop team and subcontracts to ensure delivery of all store builds.

Your future duties and responsibilities
The Desktop store builds coordinator is part of the GTO Canada End User Services team.

The member will be responsible for the coordination and inventory management of the deployment of IT hardware for retail stores of our client.

(New store openings, renovation, relocations etc.).

Participate in weekly calls with store build primes to review schedule
Update/maintain schedules for Compugen, CGI and MTI based on current build schedule
Participate in other various calls
Identify hardware requirements bases on design & hardware warranty
Frequently moves boxes weighing up to 50 pounds across the office for various needs
Submit quote requests for hardware with various vendors
Submit PO request to build team for required hardware & final PO to vendors
Manage inventory for store builds, receive new hardware and validate quantities
Prepare peripherals needed to ship out
Update inventory excel of expected hardware return, swaps and returns and provide to the asset manager.
Sort returning hardware for reuse/disposal
Some lifting of boxes and equipment is required.
Create "release notes" documenting the build requirements (hardware, timelines, contacts)
Document hardware layout by hostname for install
Create Purolator waybills if needed
Assist technicians with nontechnical questions related to the build during installation. Help with escalations where/when necessary
Submit monthly billing documents and reports
Yearly hardware planning of purchasing for next year based on high level plan of builds.
